项目摘要

2022年度は大きく2つの研究実績に分けることができる。1つは、東北大学の一小路武安氏、東洋大学の中野剛治氏とのスタートアップ企業に焦点を当てた共同研究による成果である。前年度にプレプリントとして発表したマクロ環境がスタートアップ企業のIPOに与える影響に関する成果（一小路・中野・大神, 2022）を、『Annals of Business Administrative Science』誌に投稿し、「Hot market (Abenomics) impact on the time to IPO」として掲載された。また、共同研究を進めるにあたって構築した「日本の情報通信産業のIPOデータベース 2009-2015」というデータセットも発表している。具体的には、2009年から2015年までの日本の株式市場に上場した情報通信産業の企業のデータ（企業名、上場市場名、上場年月日、実質設立年月日、上場年数、起業タイプなど）が含まれている。もう1つは、技術進歩のS曲線に関する研究成果である。プロセス産業における技術進歩のS曲線の形成過程とその脱成熟の要因を探ることを目的とした研究で、『国際地域経済研究』誌に掲載された。具体的には、板ガラスの成形技術、とりわけ現在においても支配的な技術であるフロート法を対象とし、特許出願動向のデータを収集・検討している。その結果、フロート法のS曲線は、建築・自動車用ガラス市場で形成されたように見えるが、液晶ディスプレイ用ガラス市場の誕生によって、さらに伸展する様が明らかになった。さらに、この技術の脱成熟と言える現象は、既存市場に留まった欧米企業ではなく、新市場に進出した日本企業が牽引していたことがわかった。つまり、プロセス産業における新たな顧客の出現が、技術の脱成熟に影響を与えている可能性を示唆している。
