The pandemic has increased the significance of home-based learning, and it has pushed the research considerations to include the work that homeschooling communities and parents have engaged in, and the aspects that can be beneficial for home-based learning.This research continues to focus on the role of parents, families, and communities, in the child's process of learning in schools and at home. It does not mean to burden the parent, but seeks to highlight processes that are critically impacted by the extent of parental engagement and parental leadership.Communication with home-based learning and homeschooling stakeholders in Singapore has been established, and will continue expanding.
