项目摘要

本研究では、(1) 幼児・児童が第三者視点から、傍観者に責任を帰属して賞罰の判断を調整するのか、さらに(2)集団の一員として児童が行動するときに、児童自身が自分の行動をどのように評価するのかを検討している。 (1)に関して、本年度は6-8歳児を対象に、傍観者と他の人物の関係性が傍観者の評価に影響するのかについて検討を行った。ネガティブな事象を扱った検討では、パペットA(加害者) がパペットB(被害者)に害を加える場面において、その様子を傍観しているパペットC(傍観者)に対する評価および罰を与えるか否かの判断を求めた。その結果、集団の情報が提示されない条件での傍観者に対する罰の程度と比べ、傍観者と加害者が同じ集団に属しているという情報の提示がある条件では傍観者に対する罰の程度は変わらなかった。しかし、傍観者と加害者が同じ集団に属しており、さらに加害意図を共有しているという情報の提示があった場合は、傍観者への罰の程度は重かった。つまり、傍観者への集団責任の帰属では、集団の所属情報よりも、加害意図を共有しているという情報が重要であることが示唆された。一方、ポジティブな事象を扱った検討では、傍観者と援助者が同じ集団に属しているという情報や、援助意図を共有しているという情報は傍観者への賞罰の判断に影響しないという結果が得られた。これらの成果は国内外の学会にて報告を行なった。 (2)に関しては、養育者と参加児の2人でゲームに参加してもらった後、ゲームの結果に対する貢献度合いを参加児がどのように評価するのかを検討した。その結果、養育者がゲームをしているのを傍観している条件よりも養育者と2人でゲームに取り組む協力条件において自分の貢献度を高く見積もっていたこと、また、点数が良かったと言われた時よりも、悪かったと言われた時の方が自分の貢献度を高く見積もっていたことが分かった。
