项目摘要

2022年度の研究活動は、以下の通りである。引き続き、①国内大学・研究所図書館での資料収集と各主題についての分析を進めた。2022年度夏頃から海外渡航の制限が緩和されてきた状況を受けて、これまで過去2年間に中止していた②海外調査（インド）を再開することができた。③は、主題AとDに関する研究報告（タイトル「北インドのatrocity事件にみるカースト対立と抗議のかたち」、大東文化大学東洋研究所 2022年度第1回研究会、2022年10月8日）を行い、参加者から有益なフィードバックを受けることができた。④の研究成果として、現在は昨年度の国際学会、European Conference on South Asian Studies(ECSAS)で報告した内容に基づいた英語論文を投稿し、現在査読結果を待つ状況である。また単著の刊行に向けて執筆を進めている。加えて、一般向けに申請者のテーマを解説する試みとして、現代インドのカーストに関する章を執筆し、刊行された（「第4章関係性に埋め込まれたカースト」、小磯千尋・小松久恵編『インド文化読本』丸善出版、2022年11月：48－61）。②の現地調査に関しては、まず9月上旬に1週間ほど、デリーで現地調査を行った。短期間であったため、2020－21年度の期間に起きた暴力事件とその再調査を要求する公益訴訟活動に関する聞き取り調査を実施した。さらに3月上旬から下旬にかけて、現地調査（デリー、アムリトサル、プネー、ムンバイ）を行った。デリーでは暴力事件の再調査に関する公益訴訟活動のフォローアップを行った。そのほかの地域では、ダリト運動の関係者や研究者と面会し、主題Cに関わるアムリトサルの新しい寺院建設の動向、ムンバイでは自治体清掃職員の生活調査、およびダリト運動の状況について聞き取り調査を行った。
