高齢者の福祉デバイス開発において、効率的に潜在的ニーズを抽出することが重要課題となっている。本研究では、デバイス利用時の自然な会話から達成動機の変化をリアルタイムで可視化することを目指している。今年度の研究では、原因帰属理論を用いて、福祉機器利用者の原因帰属先を変える介助者の発話の類型と関連性を明らかにする指針を立てた。電動アシスト付き四輪自転車の実証実験を対象とし、原因帰属先へ誘引し得る介助者の発話の特徴が明らかとなった。本研究の意義は、原因帰属先を変化させる他者の言語的説得の特徴を明らかにすることで、人々の動機づけを高め、行動を促進する可能性がある点にある。また、大規模言語モデル等を用いてリアルタイムで発話から帰属先の変化を推定するシステムの構築に向け検討を進めており、今後の福祉デバイス開発において、高齢者の負担を軽減しながらニーズを抽出ができるようなシステムの構築を目指している。これにより、高齢者がより快適に社会参加できる福祉デバイスの開発が促進されることが期待される。さらに、この研究成果は、介護現場やその他の福祉分野だけでなく、健常者を対象とした商品開発やサービス提供においても応用が可能であることが期待される。顧客のニーズを的確に把握し、満足度を向上させるためのコミュニケーション手法やプロセスの改善に貢献することができるだろう。加えて、本研究は人間の心理や行動を理解するための新たな視点や手法を提供することも意義深い。原因帰属理論や機械学習技術を組み合わせることで、人間の内面に関する知見を得ることができる。これは、心理学や行動経済学などの分野での研究や実践に対しても貢献することが期待される。
