项目摘要

本研究では、アート志向の導出を目指すとともに、音楽とアートとの結びつきについての研究を進めてきた。まずアート志向に関しては、すでに知られている市場志向や製品志向などのビジネスにおける志向とは異なる志向として、芸術家たちの取り組みが参考になると考えた。我々はそれをアート志向と呼んでいるが、これまでにアート志向を適切に規定した試みはなく、学術的にもビジネス的にも意義が高いと考えられる。我々は、7名の画家に対してヒアリングを実施し、彼らの発言からアート志向を形成すると考えられる5つの鍵概念の導出に成功している。その結果は、論文としてまとめる作業に入った。音楽とアートとの結びつきに関しては、音楽の高さ（pitch）と絵画に対する消費者反応の関係に着目している。先行研究は、対象の評価時に接触している音楽の影響にフォーカスしている。しかし、知覚のメカニズムを考えれば、評価時に流れている音楽の高さは、直前に触れていた音楽の高さによって違って感じるはずである。そこで本研究では、絵画の評価時に流れている音楽の影響について、直前に接触する音楽の高さを変えて検証するという実験を行った。日本、中国、イギリスの３か国におけるオンライン実験、日本人を対象とする実験室実験の結果から、直前に高い（低い）音楽に触れていると、その後（絵画の評価時）に接触する音楽に対して「下降（上昇）している」という連想を有しやすくなり、その結果、暗い色（明るい色）の絵画に対する評価や選好が高まりやすくなることが明らかにされた。現在はこれらの結果の一般化可能性を検証するために、実際の店舗を活用したフィールド実験を実施している。
