项目摘要

本研究では、萌芽段階にあるSOGI（性的指向・ジェンダーアイデンティティ）に関する人権政策・制度研究について、この分野の世界トップランナーであるオランダ、および、Xジェンダーの制度化が始まった南アジアに加え、日本国内のSOGI人権保護の取り組み状況について、国際比較の視点から分析を行う。特に、制度化がXジェンダー当事者の生活環境の改善や差別の問題の緩和、人間の安全保障の実現に貢献したのかという問題に焦点を当てた調査研究を行う。令和４年度は、渡航ができる状況にならなかったため、日本国内におけるSOGI人権問題、Xジェンダーの現状と当事者の意識に関する情報とデータ収集、分析を行った。具体的な成果として、アジアにおけるSOGI人権保護の制度と文化的背景に関する論文を学術誌に出版した。また、オランダの共同研究者と共著で執筆した、日本国内のSOGI人権保護の受容度と制度化に関する論文は国際学術誌に投稿中である。さらに、国内のXジェンダーを含むマイノリティの満足度とロールモデルに関するデータ収集と分析をとりまとめて学会で報告し、現在、国際誌への投稿を準備中である。渡航制限の中で実施可能な、日本国内のXジェンダーに関する重要なテーマも取り入れて進めることで想定していなかった成果もあがっているが、当初予定していた計画という意味では調査に基づく国際比較研究が実施できないため、やや遅れており、研究期間の延長が必要となっている。
