项目摘要

中国明清時代の宗教政策や民間信仰に関する先行研究を広く渉猟し、当初想定していたよりも広い範囲で研究テーマをとらえなおしている。近年、中国国内で山西省五台山の寺観壁画を対象とした図録が複数出版されており、それらを参考にして壁画主題の考察をおこなった。地獄めぐりと施餓鬼法要に関連する内容は複数見られるものの、宝蔵寺観音殿壁画の主題と同内容の壁画などはまだ確認できていない。夏には京都大学人文科学研究所の「五台山仏教文化圏における文物の生成・継承・波及」（代表・稲本泰生教授）研究班において宝蔵寺観音殿壁画に関する研究成果の一部を発表し、参加者各位からご指導、資料提供などをいただいた。それらを踏まえて、中国仏教の聖地である五台山に存在する仏教寺院としての性格と、そこに「壁画」として表現されている信仰内容との関連性について、より深く考察を進める必要を感じた。そこで、仏教、道教、民間信仰が複層的にあらわれている明清時代の信仰を山西省や中国国内に限定せず、東アジア世界に視点を広げ、明朝から長崎に伝えられた中国仏教の内容を観察するため長崎唐寺の調査をおこなった。また、長崎歴史文化博物館で開催されていた関連する展覧会および講演会に参加した。長崎に伝えられた明朝の仏教から見ると、仏教寺院の伽藍構成や宗教活動の中に道教的要素が加えらえれており、これは当時の山西省五台山の仏教寺院の性格や信仰内容を考えるうえで貴重な資料になり得ると考える。また、研究期間延期によって生じた時間を利用し、明清仏教を東アジアの近世仏教的角度から捉えなおすべく、思想史や仏教学など関連領域の研究も目の届く範囲で参照するよう努めている。

China's religious policy in the Ming and Qing Dynasties In recent years, China's domestic Shanxi Province Wutai Mountain Temple murals have been published in a number of ways. Natsuki presented part of the research results of the workshop on "Creation, inheritance and influence of cultural relics in Mt. Wutai" at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Humanities (on behalf of Professor Yasuo Inamoto). Participants asked for guidance and information. The religion, Taoism and folk beliefs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties were divided into several layers. The beliefs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties were limited to Shanxi Province and China. The world's viewpoints were divided into three layers. The Ming Dynasty and Nagasaki Dynasties were divided into three layers. The contents of the Chinese religion were investigated. Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture opens exhibitions and lectures Nagasaki is the Ming Dynasty's religion, the temple and the temple constitute the elements of Taoism in religious activities, and the temple of Wutai Mountain in Shanxi Province has the character and belief content. The research period is postponed, the time is utilized, the Ming and Qing Dynasties are taught from the perspective of modern times, the history of thought is taught, and the research projects in related fields are referred to.
