A Multilevel and Dynamic Model of Team Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL): Application of Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation

I conducted seven rounds of field experiments with Kansai university students and cross-culture students (e.g., three USA universities). I designed and assigned COIL (collaborative online international learning) team projects, observed and recorded how students learned from each other, exchanged ideas, and collaborated to accomplish the online projects.I identified two preliminary patterns of COIL team collaborations (i.e., group learning and knowledge maintenance) and built a computational model.
