项目摘要

本研究は、海外の日本語教育機関においても使用できるよう、1)プレースメントのためのスピーキングテストであるSTAR (Speaking Test of ActiveReaction)のタスク（テスト問題）と判定ルーツ（ルーブリックと音声サンプル）を開発・改良することと、2)日本語以外の言語のプレースメントテストでも使用できるよう、多言語テストタスクと多言語判定ツールを開発・改良することである。テストタスクとしては、難易度の異なる音読タスク５問、シャドーイングタスク５問、聞いた話を再話するタスク２問、絵描写タスク２問、状況対応タスク３問、意見述べタスク２問の計６種のタスクと１７問の設問を開発した。それぞれのタスクのルーブリック（判定表）も開発した。国内外からでも受験できるよう、オンラインで受験できる受験サイトを作成し、現在までに約200名の受験者の音声データを収集した。そして、オンラインでも評価が行えるよう、判定サイトも構築した。日本語教師による判定実験データ収集を行った結果、難易度の高いタスクの方がより妥当性が高いことが多相ラッシュ分析により明らかになった。また、判定ツールであるルーブリック（判定表）については、レベルに応じて判定者はどの観点に注目するのかについて判定者にコメントを書いてもらい、そのコメント分析の結果に基づき、判定レベルの弁別性を焦点化して改良を加えた。この、レベルによって何に注目するべきかに着目するルーブリックを「弁別性焦点化ルーブリック」と名付け、一般的なルーブリックと比較したところ、弁別性焦点化ルーブリックのほうが判定にかかる時間が短くて済むこと、音声サンプルよりもよりわかりやすいという結果を得た。
