本研究では、仏教儀礼の音声・音曲の解明に向けて、大きく以下の３本の柱を立てて研究を推進している。(1) 〈読経音曲〉の解明と復元実唱(2) 〈唱導〉の音曲の解明と復元実唱(3)　唱えられ、伝承された場の解明2022年度は、研究代表者および分担者、研究協力者が10回にわたって研究会を開催して、上記（1）～（3）について検討を行った。東大寺の法会調査および練行衆僧侶への取材・資料調査、書写山圓教寺の法会調査および僧侶との打ち合わせを複数回行い、研究会における譜本の読解と併せて、研究を進めることができた。今年度も（1）読経音曲の分析を中心に資料解析と検討を重ねた。「読経音曲」の片鱗が残されていると考えられる東大寺修二会の読経の分析を進め、また、書写山圓教寺に関係する読経資料の解析を同時に行って、相互に見比べながら復元の構想を立てているところである。また、（2）唱導に関しては、『如意輪講式』の実唱に向けて、具体的作業と日程を定めることができた。さらに、平家（平家語り）を復元法要に組み込むことについても構想を固めた。公にした研究成果は次の通りである。①柴佳世乃：講演「法会における〈声〉―読経と唱導」、2022年12月25日（日）、神奈川県立金沢文庫、特別展「法会への招待―「称名寺聖教・金沢文庫文書」から読み解く中世寺院の法会」の連続講座第5回として。本研究の成果を盛り込んで講演を行った。　②薦田治子：公演「平家物語の世界その６：壇浦の悲劇―見るべきほどのことは見つ―」 2022年9月9日（金）於 紀尾井ホール、演奏：菊央雄司・田中奈央一・日吉章吾、解説：薦田治子、曲目：能登殿最期　内侍所都入　　③柴佳世乃：単著『仏教儀礼の音曲とことば―中世の〈声〉を聴く』の原稿をまとめ、令和5年度科研費研究成果公開促進費（学術出版）に応募、採択が決まった。本科研の成果をも盛り込んでいる。
