项目摘要

本研究の目的の一つである「場の語用論の中でのインターアクショナル・モダリティ研究の理論の構築」の基盤となるデータとして、これまでは英語が唯一の西洋語であったが、令和4年度は、令和3年度にコロナ禍で収集が不可能だった異言語比較対照研究のための映像データMister O Corpusに7言語目としてドイツ語話者の映像データを収集し、文字化を行った。文字化に予想以上に時間がかかったため、実際のデータ分析からインターアクショナル・モダリティーを表す言語現象の抽出やその頻度などの、より精緻な分析は、令和5年度に行うこととなった。「場の語用論」理論をより信頼性の高いものにするため継続して検討を行った。特に、場の語用論を共に研究している海外共同研究者を交えての遠隔による研究会などを通し、非西洋の言語・コミュニケーション研究を基盤にする「場の語用論」理論を世界の語用論理論の中に明確に位置づけるべく検討を重ねた。研究成果の発信として10年来の計画であるGunter Project では、John Benjamins社よりCulture and Language Useシリーズの1巻として英語の書籍 Emancipatory Pragmatics: Cross-cultural approaches to pragmatics incorporating the concept of Baの執筆、出版を目指し、これまでの比較的緩やかなテーマから、本研究プロジェクトの目的を直接反映した「解放的語用論」ならびに「場の語用論」に特化した論文を掲載することを確認し、それに基づき、論文執筆者の選抜を行う方向で、これまでの路線の修正を行った。今後はできるだけ早い時期に論文執筆依頼をし、本の出版を目指す。
