本研究課題では、経営者属性と経済成長の関係について分析する。企業は、企業運営の多くを、経営者の経営能力や意欲に依存しており、経営者の能力や属性は、そこで働く人のそれよりも企業の業績や存続に大きな影響を与える。それにも関わらず、経営者の高齢化、地元志向、女性経営者増加といった属性変化が経済成長にどのような影響を与えるかという研究は、極めて少ない。本研究では、経営者の高齢化などの属性変化が企業動学（参入、退出、成長等）、ひいては、日本全体の経済成長に与える影響を分析する。日本は人口減少と高齢化に直面している。経営者は、人口の減少以上に減少し、人口の高齢化以上に高齢化が進んでいる。本研究では、経営者の質的変化が企業動学に及ぼす影響について検証し、背後のメカニズムを解明することによって国全体の経済成長への政策的含意を導き出すことを目指す。2022年度は、①アンケート調査実施、②データセットの構築、③分析を計画していた。このうち、①アンケート調査実施については2023年1月に実施することができた。②データセットの構築、③分析については、2021年度に構築したデータセットを使った分析は進めているが、まだ試行錯誤中である。実証分析と合わせて、モデルの構築、既存研究レビューも進めている。アンケート調査も合わせたデータセットは、2023年度に構築し分析を進める予定である。2023年度中には論文のドラフトを作成し、学会や研究会で、他の研究者からの意見もいただきながらドラフトの改定を進めたい。
