项目摘要

（１）心理学グループによる大規模縦断調査の初年度調査（小6対象）を行った。施設一体型小中一貫校と非一貫校の児童・生徒を比較して、小6から中１に学校間移行する際に、精神的健康度に関してどのような変化があるのか、全国の学校を対象に比較研究を行った。施設一体型一貫校では、同一の施設間（義務教育学校の場合は同一の学校）での移行であるが非一貫校では、異なる中学校への進学になる。それが児童・生徒の意識にどのような影響を及ぼすのかを検証することで、施設一体型一貫校の教育的効果とデメリットを明らかにしようとする調査である。（２）小中一貫校の地域事例研究として、教育学グループが北海道宗谷地区の中頓別町の義務教育学校開設の計画について訪問調査を行った。人口約1600人の村で、小規模な小学校と中学校を統合して義務教育学校にする計画が、町長、教育長らの主導で行われている。近年、地域に学校を存続させるために、小規模な小中学校を義務教育学校にする事例が特に北海道で多く見られる（年間二十数校のうち約５校程度）同町では、給食費無償化、認定こども園無償化多くの教育条件整備が進められ、その一環として地域に根ざした学校づくりが進められている。（３）小中一貫校の教育課程研究として、教育課程・カリキュラム研究グループが小中一貫教育を裏付ける安彦忠彦氏らの教育学理論の検討を行った。当初、小中一貫教育が導入された際に多かった「４・３・２」制について検討を試みた。
