2021年11月に実施した「学校の業務に関する調査」の分析結果の一部を、中部教育学会（於、信州大学）において発表した。内田良他「休憩時間の分析：公立小中学校教員対象のウェブ調査から」では、出勤から退勤までの時間は、小学校教員が11時間9分、中学校教員が11時間35分であり、そのうち実質的な休憩時間の平均値は、小学校が9.4分、中学校が14.6分で、いずれも「0分」が約半数を占めていること、また、職場の正式な休憩時間帯を「知らない」が小学校で29.2%、中学校で26.6%と、そもそも休憩を取るべき時間帯さえ把握していない回答者がいることを明らかにした。加藤一晃他「持ち帰り業務時間の分析：公立小中学校教員対象のウェブ調査から」では、小中ともに平日残業の時間が週10時間を超えていること、持ち帰り業務は平日残業に比べれば短く小中ともに週約6時間であること、また持ち帰り業務時間の変動係数は平日残業よりも大きくばらつきが大きいことを明らかにした。
