複素多様体間の固有正則写像 f : X --> Yと X$上の中野半正なベクトル束 (E,h) に対し, 高次順像層 R^q f_* (K_{X/Y} x E) の計量的な正値性を研究した. 2000年代後半のCh. Mourougane氏との共同研究により, f が滑らかな場合には, R^q f_* (K_{X/Y} x E) はある標準的なエルミート計量 g を許容し, その曲率は中野半正であることを示していた. また, f が特異な場合にも, f が滑らかな所で定めた g が, ある種の特異計量として拡張されることを示していた. その後の10年余りの期間におけるベクトル束の特異エルミート計量の理論の整理, 発展を受け, 再度上述の R^q f_* (K_{X/Y} x E) を考察した. 結果として, f が滑らかな所の R^q f_* (K_{X/Y} x E) の計量 g は, Y 上のGriffiths半正な特異エルミート計量 G として拡張され, さらに G は極小拡張性 (minimal extension property)をみたすことを示した. 極小拡張性は, 最良評価付き大沢-竹腰型 L^2 拡張定理に密接に関係した, 今後益々重要性が高まるであろう基本的な性質である.一方,７月下旬には「多変数複素解析葉山シンポジウム」を、１１月には「複素幾何学シンポジウム」をともに対面とオンラインのハイブリッド開催した.

On the one hand, in late July,"multi-element analysis of leaf mountains" was launched, and in November,"complex geometry" was launched.
