In cooperation with the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, the project uses historical exhibits as starting points for acoustic expeditions into the history of knowledge, with the aim of appealing to a broad public. The project has already implemented a suitable and sustainable new format for disseminating the CRC’s research to a wider public in the form of the science podcast Behind things. 5000 years of knowledge history to take away and listen to. New features – such as listening posts in the urban space and a smartphone app – will increase the podcast’s visibility and impact.
