项目摘要

（1）物質文化班：キルギスのモルブラク遺跡での地下探査を実施し、地中構造物を広範囲に記録した。同遺跡周辺での踏査を実施し、初期牧畜民の居住と移動経路の推定に資する基礎データを整えた。ウズベキスタンのダルヴェルジン遺跡で、残存状況が良好な区域の拡張発掘をおこない、遺構分布と出土標本に関する情報を層位的に蓄積した。同遺跡周辺の鉱山遺跡の予備調査をおこない、青銅器の材料産地の基礎データ整備に着手した。調理伝統の地域間比較に向け、同遺跡出土土器の脂質分析と中国出土の調理土器の研究を進めた。（2）古環境班：中央アジアならびにその周辺域の山岳氷河アイスコア掘削試料の分析を引き続き実施し、気候代替指標物の基礎データの整備・解析と研究成果の公表を進めた。環境変動イベントと人間活動との相関について、その予備的成果を国際学会で公表した。（3）生物班：人類学分野ではオンサイト解析のための携帯型次世代シーケンサーの開発を進めた。動物学分野ではダルヴェルジン遺跡の家畜の同位体分析を追加実施し、個々の家畜種への給餌飼料の違いについて調べた。同遺跡出土の動物骨標本に加え、ウズベキスタンの研究機関所蔵の既存標本を実見し、形態学的手法で他の同時代遺跡との比較研究を進めた。植物学分野では同遺跡出土の穀物加工具に付着したデンプン試料を採取し、加工穀類を特定するため専門家へ研究協力を依頼した。（4）数理地理班：地理分野では先進的な地形計測手法の開発に加え、地形情報の人文学への適用に関する基礎研究を進めた。モルブラク遺跡周辺の地形解析をおこない、山岳環境下での遺跡立地の特性解明に向けた基礎情報を整備した。ヒマラヤの山岳・山麓環境下での地形と河川堆積物についての比較研究成果を公表した。数理分野ではイタリアでの都市と道路網の形成にかかる地形要因についての数理モデルとシミュレーション結果を比較研究成果として公表した。
