分析の資料となる日本語作文収集のために、中国7大学、台湾2大学、韓国2大学、ベトナム3大学、タイ1大学、フランス1大学、スロべニア1大学、イギリス1大学の計18大学との共同調査体制を維持・拡大し、海外の大学で日本語を専攻する学部1～2年生学習者936名（開始時）を対象に、本年度に3回（今年度に調査を開始した3大学は1回のみ）、計1,754本の作文データを収集した。2021年度と同様、「EssayLoggerTS」という作文の執筆プロセスを記録できるシステムを用いているが、調査対象者の使いにくいという声に応えるために、当該システムをMoodleに組み込み、オンラインでの調査をより円滑に行えるよう改善を施した。なお、途中で調査を辞退した学生もいるため、開始時よりも調査対象者の人数はやや減少したが、調査は全体として順調に進行している。データ分析および印象評価についても試行的な分析を行っている。データ分析については、誤用のアノテーションをどのように付与するかについて、3名の日本語教師に作文を実際に添削してもらい、添削者間の異同について検討を行った。また、印象評価については、印象評価班が準備した評価基準に従って、正確な印象評価が可能かどうか、クラウドソーシングに発注して印象評価データを収集し、その妥当性をめぐる検討を行った。成果発信については、本研究内容の紹介、および研究遂行に付随する試験開発の成果について、6件の口頭発表・講演、および2件の論文刊行を行った。
