2019年度から2020は、岩手県内の在宅ケアが必要な子どもを養育する家族の思いと、子どもの状態や家族の状況、サポートとの関連を明らかにする目的でアンケート調査を行った。2021年度は、そのアンケート調査を分析し、学会発表をした。調査協力が得られた家族は280名（回収率78.0％）、有効回答は262名（93.6％）であった。家族の子育てへの気持ちに関する32項目を因子分析し、第1因子「子どもとの相互作用の実感」、第2因子「日々の生活や社会への順応」、第3因子「ケア技術への自信」、第4因子「情緒の把握」、第5因子「愛着」に分類した。家族の子育てへの気持ちにおいて「ケア技術への自信」の得点が高く、「日々の生活や社会への順応」の得点が低かった。「子どもとの相互作用の実感」「子どもと社会との生活に順応」「情緒の把握」について、家族の体調が不安定なほど得点が低く、家族へのサポートがあるほど高かった。家族が子どもの気持ちを理解し子育てを楽しみことや、社会とのつながりをもつためには、家族の健康状態を良好に保つサポートが必要である。家族は子育てをするうえでの心配には、子どもの成長発達に伴う心配、在宅ケアを継続することのつらさや気がかり、子どもの将来に見通しが立たないことへの心配、医療や福祉サービスが不足していることへの物足りなさ、社会の障がいに対する理解や認識の低さがあった。このアンケート結果をふまえ、看護職を中心とした小児在宅ケアに関する研修会を実施し、子どもや家族の状況、社会資源サービスの現状と今後の方向性について意見交換し、看護職間の協働を促進するモデルを検討している。
