エノン写像の分岐問題を、Yoccozのパズルを用いて解析することが本研究開始当初の目標であった。エノン写像の分岐パラメーター通過後のダイナミクスの解析は非常に難しいため、エノン写像を直接考察するのではなく、その一次元モデルである単峰写像や、記号モデルである可算マルコフシフトが生成する力学系を詳細に考察し、エノン写像の解析のための手がかりを得ることを引き続き試みた。前年度に、周期軌道の大偏差解析に関して決定論的力学系（無限回繰りこみ可能な単峰写像）とランダム力学系の両方で結果を得ていた。当該年度は、前者の結果をまとめた論文が国際学術雑誌「Nonlinearity」に受理された。また、Gibbs測度を持たない可算マルコフシフトの周期軌道の漸近分布を大偏差解析により考察し、プレプリントにまとめた（https://arxiv.org/abs/2301.02841）。2023年3月には力学系とエルゴード理論、気象科学に関する国際ワークショップ「International Workshop on Ergodic Theory, Dynamical systems and Climate Sciences」を主催した。
