本研究プロジェクトは，2014年に惹起されたウクライナ内戦への政治的・軍事的介入及びクリミア編入を引き金とした国際社会からの制裁下にあるロシアを対象として，長期化する国際制裁に直面した国家，地域及び企業社会の実情及び厳しい経営環境に陥った国内企業の組織的・経営戦略的行動の解明に向けた日米露共同研究の実施を企図する。ロシア国家，地域，政府・企業間関係，企業社会及び企業内部組織や経営行動の実態を，多角的・実証的に検証し，そこから得られる研究成果の総合を通して，特殊状況下にあるロシアの国家，地域及び企業社会に関する新たな概念モデルの構築を試みることが，本プロジェクトの究極的目標である。以上の研究目標を遂行するため，令和４年度は，研究代表者と海外共同研究者の初回合同会議をモスクワで開催すべく，ロシアの海外共同研究者と緊密に連絡を取りながら，日程調整を試みたが，ロシア軍のウクライナ侵攻故に，ロシアへの渡航が厳しく制限された上，先方機関の外国研究者入場が禁止されるなど，会合の実施が極めて困難となり，令和３年度に続き会合開催を断念した。以上に並行して，我々チームは，本プロジェクトのテーマに深く関連するテーマの個別研究を進め，この結果，研究代表者の岩﨑は，ロシア企業の所有構造と経営成果や救済合併に関する諸問題を，研究分担者の安達教授は，ロシアの国家・企業間関係や新興財閥に係る諸問題を，堀江教授は，ロシアの貿易活動や外国人労働者問題を，志田准教授は，ロシアの経済特区や対ロシア制裁に関する問題を，それぞれテーマとする研究成果を公表した。また，我々プロジェクトメンバーは，互いに共著論文も著し，内外の査読雑誌にこれらを相次いで発表した。
