We have prepared the different catalysts for catalytic pyrolysis of plastics. The experiments have been done by the tandem micro-reactor GC/MS. The co-pyrolysis of PCB and waste tire was conducted. We find that the co-pyrolysis of PCB and waste tire can be beneficial for the production of phenol and largely reduce the content of brominated compounds. The related work has been published in the journal of Green Chemistry and Journal of Hazardous Materials.We attended the International Symposium on Feedstock Recycling of Polymeric Materials, and gave a presentation on the topic of “Co-pyrolysis of the non-metallic fraction of printed circuit boards and waste tire”.
