项目摘要

2022年度は、3回の全体研究会を4月及び3月に行うとともに参議院選挙を利用した候補者、有権者、地方議員の調査を実施した。4月の研究会では、2020年度に実施した日本、イタリア、アメリカにおけるサーベイ実験の結果に関する追加的報告を行った。そこでは、まず、3ヵ国において政党数・政策争点数が分極化のあり方に与える影響の違いの検討が国ごとのパーソナリティー特性の差異、組織への信頼度の差異に注目した探索的分析の結果が報告されその説明力に関して検討が行われた。第2に、前年度に検討した事実認識に由来する分極化のメカニズムに関して実験結果の分析が報告された。第3に、参議院選挙に際しての調査計画について検討し、対象とする選挙区の選定を行った。7月の参議院選挙を利用して4種類の調査を利用して、定数が1の長崎、新潟、香川、佐川及び定数が2の京都、広島、茨城、静岡の計8選挙区を対象に、選挙後に地方議会議員調査（回収率59.1％）、有権者郵送調査（回収率37.4％）を、選挙前後の変化を確認するための有権者WEB調査（選挙前4633人、選挙後3195人のパネル調査）を実施した。その上で、読売新聞と共同で実施した選挙前の全候補者調査データの該当選挙区データをマッチングして、データクリーニングを行いデータセット及びコードブックを作成し、選挙区定数、選挙における競争状況がどの様な政策選好の分布を生んでいるかを最初の記述的な問いとする分析をスタートさせた。3月には、2回の研究会を実施し、Bilief Polarizationについての実験室実験結果の分析報告とそれへの外部研究者によるコメントをめぐっての検討、参議院選挙調査のデータ概要報告と今後の分析方針の検討、追加的に行う外交政策と分極化に関するサーベイ実験デザインの検討を行った。

In 2022, three plenary study sessions will be held in April and March, and surveys of candidates, candidates, and local councillors will be conducted to make use of the Senate election. The April Research Conference will conduct additional reports on the results of the 2020 annual implementation of Japan, Japan and other countries. In March, two rounds of research meetings were held, Bilief Polarization, analysis report on the results of the implementation of the laboratory, external research, review of the Senate election survey, summary report on future analysis policy, additional foreign policy and polarization related issues, and review of the implementation of the laboratory results.
