身体に病気の症状がないにもかかわらず，病気であるという過度な不安を訴える身体症状症(身体表現性障害)は，実際には相当数の症例が存在し，ある種の心理療法が有効であることが知られているものの，その発生メカニズムは十分に理解されていない．その主な原因は，これまでの身体症状症の研究において，「心ー脳ー身体」の三方向から統合的に理解しようとする試みが不十分であった点にある．そこで本研究では，症状の発生に深く関与する3つの要因，すなわち，身体レベルの自律神経予測処理機能，内受容感覚の正確さ，思考の歪みに着目し，各要素について詳しく調べる課題を用いて検討することを目的とする．本研究では，上述の3つの要因について行動・神経科学的なアプローチによる実験を実施し，関連病態がどのようなメカニズムによって引き起こされているのかを徹底的に解析し，治療に結び付けられるような指針を示す．本年度は，疼痛症状をはじめとする身体症状症に対して，思考の歪みを調べる課題，痛みの程度を調べる生理課題，主観的感情と身体感知に関する課題，内受容感覚を詳細に調べるための複数の課題，および複数の性格特性などの個人差を調べる質問紙などを実施した．課題遂行中には，連続血圧計などを用いて，自律神経の詳細な変化を同時に計測した．一方，自律神経の反応性および自律神経の予測性について深く検討するため，気圧の変化に対する応答を調べる課題も実施した．症例の臨床症状は非常に多様であるため，各症状がどのようなメカニズムで生じているのかを明らかにするため，慎重な検討を行っている．

The symptoms of physical illness are not easy to understand, the symptoms are excessive, the symptoms are physical symptoms (physical performance disorders), and in fact, a considerable number of symptoms exist. The main reason for this is that the study of physical symptoms in the heart, the body and the three directions of the integration of understanding. This study focuses on the three main causes of symptom development, the function of body self-regulation, the function of internal capacity sensing, the function of thinking, the function of each factor in detail, the function of each factor in the task of adjusting the symptoms, and the purpose of each factor in the task. This study provides a thorough analysis of the causes of the above three diseases, and a guide to the treatment of these diseases. This year, pain symptoms are related to physical symptoms, thoughts are related to psychological problems, pain levels are related to physiological problems, subjective feelings are related to physical perception problems, internal feelings are related to detailed adjustments, multiple problems are related to personality characteristics are related to personal differences, and questions are related to paper implementation. In the course of the project, even the blood pressure meter is used, and the self-regulatory system is detailed and measured simultaneously. On the one hand, the self-regulatory nature of the brain and the predictive nature of the brain are discussed in depth, and the problem of the regulation of the brain is solved. The clinical symptoms of the disease are very diverse, and each symptom is carefully discussed.
