项目摘要

本研究の目的は、今まで明示的に実証分析がなされてこなかった経済政策不確実性が我が国経済へ与える影響を明らかにすることである。具体的には、経済政策不確実性が、(1)金融市場 (2)企業行動 (3)家計の投資行動にどのような影響を与えるのかについて検証する。今年度は、昨年度に再構築したデータセットをもとに、経済政策不確実性が株価共通性と流動性共通性に与える影響についての本格的な実証分析を行った。さらにこの関係に、企業の公的ディスクロージャーと新聞報道がどのような影響を及ぼすのかについて、実証分析を行った。この分析を行うために、東京証券取引所の適時開示情報閲覧システムのデータおよび、日本経済新聞の記事から、実証分析に必要な情報の抽出・整備を行った。分析の結果、公的ディスクロージャーおよび新聞記事情報は、株価共通性と流動性共通性を緩和する影響があることが示された。この結果は、公的ディスクロージャーが情報の非対称性を緩和し、金融市場の安定化に貢献していることを意味している。一方、この影響の強さは、経済政策不確実性が高いときには弱くなる傾向があることが明らかになった。これは、経済政策不確実性が高いときに、投資家の個別企業に関する情報処理能力が低くなり、個別企業の株価に個別企業の情報が織り込まれる程度が相対的に弱くなる可能性を示している。このことから、金融市場の安定化には、政策決定者による経済政策不確実性を増大させない政策決定と、経済政策不確実性が高い局面における、より精度の高い公的ディスクロージャーとマスコミ報道が必要であることが示唆される。以上の結果を基に、論文を執筆し、海外学術雑誌への投稿準備を行っている。
