项目摘要

本研究課題では「国際貿易における決済通貨は何によって決まっているか？」という問いに対し、以下三つの研究目的を設定し、主に実証分析による検証を進めている。第一の目的は、「決済通貨の決定に、輸出側と輸入側の間の相対的な交渉力がどういった役割を果たしているのかを明らかにする」ことである。第二の目的は、「企業の輸出経験蓄積が、決済通貨選択に与える影響を明らかにする」ことである。第三の目的は、「決済通貨選択と、貿易信用などその他の契約事項の選択との相互関係を明らかにする」ことである。これら三つの研究目的を達成するため、タイとトルコの税関データおよび、2019年度に実施した中小企業向けアンケート調査の結果を用いて研究を進めている。2022年度の研究実績として主なものは、一編のディスカッションペーパー出版（RIETI Discussion Paper）と、一回の国内学会報告（日本国際経済学会2022年度春季大会）である。また、2022年度は前年度に実施できなかったアンタルヤ（トルコ）への海外渡航を実施し、Kemal Turkcan氏（Akdeniz University）との共同研究を実施した。トルコへの渡航には、本課題を基課題とする「国際共同研究加速基金 (国際共同研究強化 (A))」の資金を利用した。トルコで実施した共同研究の成果に基づき、決済方法の決定要因にかかる一編の追加的な論文を執筆した。さらに、決済方法と決済通貨の関係に関する論文の執筆を目下進めている。加えて、日本の中小企業に対するアンケート調査に基づく、輸出経験と決済通貨選択の関係に関する研究論文を、近日Discussion Paperとして出版予定である。また2022年度には派生的研究テーマとして、財務総合政策研究所との共同研究という形で、日本の税関データを用いた決済通貨および為替パススルーの研究を開始した。

The topic of this study is "How to determine the price of international trade?" In the middle of the question, the following three research objectives are set, and the main evidence analysis is carried out. The first goal is to determine the relative interaction between the output side and the input side. The second goal is to "determine the impact of the export cycle of enterprises" The third objective is to clarify the relationship between currency selection, trade credit, and other contractual matters. In 2019, the results of the survey on SMEs were implemented and the research was carried out. Research results for 2022 were published in RIETI Discussion Paper and a report of the National Society of International Economics (2022 Spring Conference). In 2022, Kemal Turkcan (Akdeniz University) conducted joint research on overseas voyages. This project is based on the International Joint Research Acceleration Fund (International Joint Research Enhancement (A)). The results of the joint research were based on the results of the study and the determination of the method. The author of this paper will make progress in the following aspects: the method of decision and the relationship between decision and currency. Research paper on the relationship between export and currency selection for small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan was published recently. In 2022, joint research by the Institute of Financial Integration Policy, Japan's tax authorities, and research on currency replacement began.
