本研究は、原発事故災害にともなう全域避難という特異な事態により、従前の地域社会から遊離し、観察可能なかたちで表出した認識レベルの地域社会（以下、「認識圏としての地域社会」）に着目し、「生活圏としての地域社会」が崩壊─再編されていくなかで、「認識圏としての地域社会」が遊離・変容・継承・再編されていく過程を規定する要因・構造を探求するものである。その際、全域避難かつ長期避難を強いられた福島県富岡町を中心的な調査対象とし、その復興過程を分析することによって、「認識圏としての地域社会」の原理的・動態的メカ ニズムを解明することとしている。今年度は主として、これまでの調査で得られた知見をもとに、下記のとおり量的調査を実施した。①被災者を対象としたアンケート実施に向けた準備調査：これまで積み上げてきた理論仮説を補足するとともにデータ的な裏付けをおこなうために量的調査の実施に向けた準備作業（先行研究や復興庁ほかの量的調査のレビュー等）をおこなった。②調査対象地である福島県富岡町役場の協力を得て、18歳以上の町民男女の5割に当たる約5000人を対象としたアンケート調査を実施した。この際、町がこれから取り組む次期総合計画策定に際しての基礎資料としての役割を加味するとともに、別途復興庁にて行われている住民以降調査との重複など調査協力者への負担軽減に配慮しながら調査を設計～実施した。③アンケート調査結果をもちいた本格的な分析は翌年度の作業となるが、単純集計やクロス分析などの記述統計をもとに、これまでの理論仮説を踏まえつつ、分析指針や分析方法・分析の詳細な内容について検討を行った。
