项目摘要

都市部および農村部における暮らしの最低限の地域性を対象化し比較考量するため、生活意識調査及び生活様式の調査を川崎市及び岩手県の農村部を持つ自治体で実施することを計画、生活意識調査を川崎市多摩区において２０２１年度までに実施、２０２２年度は調査結果の分析の継続及び岩手県農村部での調査を企図して進めた。川崎市における調査結果の知見は研究代表者の小池が中間報告として「川崎市多摩区住民の生活と福祉に関する意識調査～調査結果中間報告」（専修大学社会科学研究所月報７０４号、２０２２年２月）を共著で公表している。そこでは、層化2段抽出法により住基台帳閲覧をすることで標本抽出され、郵送によるアンケート調査に回答した住民の福祉意識に関する状況の一端が明らかとなった。調査時期がコロナ禍にさしかかるという、状況の大きな変化を経験しつつも、調査時点においては、社会保障の利用実態には世代差ならびにジェンダーによる差異の存在、またそれが福祉意識としての社会保障・社会福祉サービスに対する意識、さらに生活困難の認知にかかわる意識を中心とする「貧困観」の差異につながっている可能性が示唆されることを明らかにしている。岩手県における比較考量のための量的調査が遅れており、当初計画していた比較考量が現時点では未実施であるものの、農村部ではない都市近郊住民の暮らしの実態について、それらの一側面を明らかにする上で根拠となる知見を蓄積しつつある。
