项目摘要

2021年度は、新型コロナの影響が大きく、国際比較研究を焦点に当て、海外への現地調査を進めることは困難であった。そのため、国内における調査に焦点を当て、先行研究、研究調査等、主にオンラインを用いて進めた。日本における国際教育交流分野の「第三領域」に関する研究は、「留学生指導に関する研究」、「担当者の専門性に関する研究」、「国際教育交流担当者の職能に関する研究」、「人材育成・キャリア形成に関する研究」といった分野に分かれて研究の蓄積がなされており、大きく業務に関わること（ソフト面）と制度や人材育成に関わること（ハード面）に区分されることが、これまでの先行研究により明らかになった。そのため2021年度は、ソフト面、ハード面について、日本の大学における状況をより具体的に把握することを目的とした。特にコロナ禍における国際教育交流分野の教員人事公募に関する現状と課題についての状況把握を目的とする調査、及び人事担当者へのヒアリング調査を進めた。教員人事公募に関する現状と課題の調査については、2021年1月から11月までに11ヶ月にJrec-in Portalで掲載された公募要項のデータを活用し、収集したデータを分析し、論文投稿の形で報告した。また大学の国際化を担う教員人事担当者へのヒアリング調査を進め、途中報告を異文化間教育学会年次大会にて発表した。今後もヒアリング調査は進め、日本の大学における国際教育交流分野の大学教員に関するソフト面、ハード面に関する状況を明らかにし、国際比較研究へとつなげていくことを目標としている。
