项目摘要

・研究の目的本研究は、サイクロン常襲地である南太平洋島嶼国を対象に、居住性や耐災害性を備えたバランスある居住文化形成を目指し、集落にみられる伝統住居や新建材住居というノンエンジニアド建築の性能について、多面的な工学的評価（①空間性能、②環境性能、③耐風性能）を行い、健全な住居のあり方を提示することを目的とする。研究調査対象地は、これまでフィールド調査を実施してきたフィジーを中心に、バヌアツ、サモア等の周辺国を視野に入れる。近年の市場経済普及による伝統住居から新建材住居への急激な移行、サイクロン被害を契機とする再建住居の応急的建設など、住居性能の低下や劣化が多くみられる。このような社会経済的な影響や自然災害の影響のもと、持続的に安定した住居性能を担保することが、新たな居住文化の創造に資するものとなる。・研究実績の概要前述した多面的な工学的評価に関連する研究実績の概要を記述する。フィジーにおけるサイクロン災害による住宅復興に関して国内学会発表1報（2023/09予定）、フィジーにおける伝統住居の建設技術継承に関して国内学会発表1報（2022/12）、現代社会における伝統住居の潜在性に関して国際学会発表1報（2022/10）、バヌアツにおける集落住民の災害対応に関して国内学会発表1報（2023/06予定）、地域に根ざす建築の重要性に関して3報（2022/07, 08, 11）、茅葺住居の温熱環境性能に関して国内会議発表1報（2022/06, 09）にまとめた。
