現在から遡って過去のデータを入手することは難しい。本研究では、1959年、1969年、1979年、1989年に北海道札幌市において定量的に採集された膨大なハナバチ標本とそれらの訪花植物のデータを整理するとともに、同じ場所で同じ方法にて再度現在のハナバチの採集とそれらの訪花植物のデータの採取および整理をすることを目指している。さらにこうした相違に変化を与える要因として、60年間にわたる土地利用の変遷、植生の遷移、外来動植物の移入、気候変動などの影響について解析することを目標としている。当該年度は、北海道札幌市において過去に採集されたハナバチ標本のデータの整理および管理を継続した。その結果、1969年に採集されたとされる標本は見つけることができなかった。一方で、過去の調査手法を用いて再サンプリングによって得られたハナバチ標本の整理を実施し属レベルの同定について着手した上、過去から現在にかけての土地利用状況など要因の把握についても調査をはじめた。
