広帯域化・低遅延化・高信頼性能を従来の通信技術よりも格段に向上する「情報指向ネットワークコンピューティングによるネットワークサービスプラットフォーム(ICNC:Network Service Platform Cooperating with Information-Centric Network Computing)」の研究を令和2年度より実施している。ICNCでは、アプリケーションやデータが持つ属性・特性に応じてネットワーク内でデータを処理し、迅速かつ正確な情報提供を実現し、急激な通信量や端末数の増加や、超広帯域・超低遅延通信などを満たす。研究3年目である令和4年度は、アプリケーション特性を管理するための分散台帳技術と経路制御プロトコルおよびネットワーク内キャッシュの連携に関する設計およびシミュレーションを行った。また、ICNCにおける情報伝達をセキュアかつスケーラブルに行う仕組みを設計およびシミュレーションを行なった。前者の研究成果はIEEE ICC（メインセッション）に、後者の研究成果はIEEE CCNC（メインセッション）に論文投稿・採録され、発表を行なった。後者に関しては、電子情報通信学会ICN研究会においても発表を行なった。またネットワーク内コンピューティングの概念実装として、オープンソースであるCeforeを拡張してICNCのプロトタイプ実装の開発を昨年度より継続して行なった。最終年度となる令和5年度はこれを用いて実証実験を行う計画である。
