项目摘要

本研究は、既存研究で看過されてきた東アジアの近代伝記の重要性を捉え直し、「史学史」の角度から中国を主として、日本と韓国などの東アジアの文化交流を通して、近代伝記史の構築を目的とするものである。そのためには、以下に述べる手順を踏んで、構築していくことを目指している。①まず本研究の対象となる時期である1890年前後から1910年代までにおいて、各時期の伝記が変化するきっかけとなった契機を析出し、それによって時期を区分をすることを目指す。②西洋伝記からの影響を分析し、さらに日本、中国、韓国などの東アジア内での相互影響も同時に分析する。これによって、中国の旧来「伝」がトランスナショナルに影響し合いながら、変容していく過程を解明する。③またメディアの作用を検証する。伝記が掲載される媒体の影響を受けて、伝記が近代性を備えていく過程を解明する。④中国の近代伝記の雑誌などの掲載状況を調べることによって、近代伝記が中国国内で普及していく過程について解明する。本研究では、以上の４点を明らかにする。それによって、清末期における近代伝記の形成過程や、伝記が旧来の伝から近代伝記へと変容していくその全体像を掴む。そして中国近代伝記史の構築を目指す。今年度は、海外出張が可能となり、海外で史料を収集できたことが研究の大きな進展に繋がった。また、本研究成果を海外に発信するために、既に公刊した論文の翻訳と校正に力を入れた。

This study focuses on the importance of modern Chinese heritage from the perspective of historical studies, the cultural exchange between China, Japan and Korea, and the construction of modern Chinese heritage. This study is based on the above four points.
