今年度も引き続きニューヨーク大学ヘブライ・ユダヤ学科のタウブ・イスラエル研究所にて、客員研究員として在外研究を行った。ヘブライ・ユダヤ学科ではセミナーなどを通して、イスラエル建国前後のシオニズムの変容について知見を深め、議論を行うことができた。代表的なシオニストの伝記・自伝の分析を通して彼らが共有していた歴史的・社会的文脈を明らかにし、近現代においてパレスチナという土地とディアスポラ・コミュニティが相互に及ぼした影響とその意義を再確認した。中東・イスラーム研究科のセミナーにも積極的に参加し、アラブ・ユダヤ（Arab-Jew）という概念をめぐる記憶・歴史・表象の問題にどのように取り組むかという点について意見を交わした。カルチュラル・スタディーズの視点を取り入れ、エスニシティや人種、系譜といった概念を通してユダヤ性を論じる手法を学ぶこともできた。タウブ・イスラエル研究所では、様々な背景を持つ研究者らと、委任統治下パレスチナのシオニズムやアラブ諸国のユダヤ人とエスニシティの問題、アラビア語ジャーナリズムにおけるユダヤ人といったテーマについて意見を交換することができた。またこれらを踏まえ、引き続きイラクのユダヤ人が発行したアラビア語・ヘブライ語定期刊行物を資料として用いながら、ユダヤ世界とアラブ世界それぞれにおいて多様な民族運動が展開される中でイラクのユダヤ系知識人が著した言説を分析し、その相関の細部と当時の「ユダヤ性」の一端を詳かにすることができた。上記の研究成果を反映し、8月に「バグダードのユダヤ系知識人と二つの「復興」運動」と題し現代中東若手研究会で報告を行なった。またパンデミック下のイスラエル滞在中にハレディーム（超正統派ユダヤ教徒）とパシュケヴィル（張り紙）をめぐるフィールドワークの成果を昨年シンポジウムで報告したが、その内容により詳細な考察を加え論文として発表した。
