项目摘要

本研究は、16世紀スペインにおいてカトリック信仰への強制改宗を経験したムスリムの末裔であるモリスコの多様性に焦点を当てるものである。特に17世紀初頭の全体的追放に至るまでイスラーム信仰を保持したモリスコについて、アルハミーア史料（アラビア文字表記スペイン語史料）やアラビア語史料、異端審問記録などの文字史料の分析を通して、空間的・信仰的「移動」がモリスコ集団にもたらした影響を明らかにし、イスラーム・キリスト教両世界の狭間に存在したモリスコの宗教的多様性の実態を解明することを目的としている。研究対象地域の図書館・文書館における文献調査を夏と春に予定していたが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の世界的流行の影響で、当該年度における海外調査を行うことは断念し、これまでの研究活動の中で収集した史資料の整理とオンライン環境下での史資料収集やアラビア語史料読解指導、研究報告を中心に研究を展開した。具体的には写本や文書史料について、整理・データベース化、校訂作業を行った。特に、アルハミーア史料に関しては、宗教的な語彙やアラビア語からの借用表現など、各項目の分類を重点的に行った。アラビア語史料については、年代記などで繰り返し引用されるハディース（預言者の言行録）や、取り扱われる歴史的事象のデータを収集した。上記の研究成果をまとめて、2020年12月2－4日にかけて開催された、スペイン高等学術会議（CSIC）の人文社会科学研究拠点主催の国際シンポジウムMediterraneoS 2020にて報告を行った。本報告の独自性は、終末論に関係するハディースをモリスコたちがアルハミーア史料のなかでどのように訳出し、それを自らの状況に合わせていかに再解釈していたのかを論じた点にあった。この報告については英語論文として国際雑誌に投稿する予定で修正作業を進めている。
