项目摘要

本年度は、研究費購入した琵琶・和琴によってスムーズに古譜を解読することが可能になり、従前に続いて音楽資料と詩歌作品の対応関係をさぐり、分析結果を全体的に整理した。研究テーマについての目下の見解であるが、まず前提として、連続した２文字の相互の関係性は、最小単位として核となる。ことに２文字目の格律が重要であり、旋律をからめると大体において以下のように帰納できる。「平平・仄平」の連続する時は、①同音連続、②オクターヴの高低関係にある音の連続、③低音から高音となる。「仄仄・平仄」では高音から低音になる。このように歌曲の格律・旋律の基本構造は、普通の人が耳で聴いて認識できるような明快なものであった。これに付随して以下のことも確認できた。①管楽は時代が下るにつれて装飾音が複雑化するが、琵琶・筝などの弦楽譜のなかに示される基礎旋律こそが、歌詞の語句の置かれる位置であった。②曲譜の詩歌にたいするボリュームの差や、「三十二相」などの日本の漢語声明の資料から、唐代楽府は「一字多音」式が多かったと考えられる。②例えば壱越調「曹婆」等は一つの拍子が７譜字で構成されるが、敦煌本「阿曹婆辞」も七言を基調とする詞牌であり、両者の発展的関係性を想定できる。未解決の問題として残ったのは、たとえば「想夫恋」など幾つかの楽曲は、規則的構造は顕著であるのに、伝存する歌詞とはうまく対応せず、にわかには両者のあいだに明白な対応関係を見いだせないことである。今後の研究の方向性としては、この未解決の課題を解決するために、研究材料の古譜はどの時期の、どのような音楽を反映しているかという問題を、さらに史料的に検討する必要がある。これによって本研究テーマをさらに①「器楽曲」と「歌曲」の差異、②「一字一音」と「一字多音」の旋律構造の差異という角度から深められ、格律と旋律との対応構造の成立・発展の過程が、より明らかになろう。
