项目摘要

本研究課題は，子どもの学校経験と，政治や社会に対する態度形成との関連を，質問紙調査によって明らかにすることを目的としている。2021年度においては，既存の質問紙調査（東京大学社会科学研究所・ベネッセ教育総合研究所「子どもの生活と学びに関する親子調査」）の二次分析，独自調査の実施・分析を行った。既存調査の二次分析からは，学年による差異と学校や家庭における意見表明機会との関連を示した。(1)学年が高いほど投票意向が高く，政治的有効性感覚は低いこと，(2)学校と家庭における意見表明機会は，いずれも投票意向や政治的有効性感覚と正の関連にあること，(3)学年によって意見表明機会の効果が異なることを明らかにした。独自調査の分析からは，次の2点を明らかにした。第一に，学校における話し合いの経験が子どもの政治意識に与える影響を明らかにした。具体的には，(1)単に話し合いや多数決の場を用意するのみでは政治意識を高める効果は限定的であること，(2)政治意識を高めるためには教師による支援や話し合いの方法が重要であること，(3)話し合いや多数決が投票に関する規範や義務感の伝達の機能を有することを明らかにした。第二に，家庭が子どもの政治知識の形成に与える影響を明らかにした。具体的には，子どもの政党認知と母親の政党認知の関連の強さを明らかにした。これらをもとに，子どもの政治や社会に対する態度形成における学校，家庭の影響と，学年や学校段階による差異に応じた政治教育のあり方について検討を進めた。

This research topic is about the relationship between school politics and social attitudes, and the purpose of paper surveys.
