The incremental die bending process for tubular workpieces is an innovative process for the production of lightweight components. It is possible to produce bending parts that are not or only difficult to produce by state of the art processes. The project focuses on process analysis and the development of a process model to make in future the process layout easier. Main aim of the project is a deeper understanding of the new process.
