项目摘要

本年度は、前年度に引き続き、大きく二つの研究を進めた。第一に、本研究の理論的な土台となる、移行期正義論の分析である。本年度はとりわけ、ジェンダーと移行期正義の関係に着目した。より具体的には、1980年代以降の韓国において、フェミニズム運動が、移行期正義の実践やこれを支える政治思想にいかなる影響を及ぼしたのかを分析した。この内容の一部は、二つの研究成果として発表した。一つは、ジェンダー教育が、過去の暴力に起因してこんにちも存在し続けている不正義の縮減にいかに貢献しうるかを論じたものである。この内容は、2021年11月に、釜山民主市民教育ネットワーク（韓国）主催の国際シンポジウムで、英語で報告した。また、これを加筆・修正した論文が、『東アジアと市民』（韓国・東西大学校中国研究センター、2022年4月）に韓国語で掲載された。もう一つは、「過去」をめぐる日韓の対立を、両国のフェミニズム運動を通じて克服することの可能性を論じたものである。この内容は、『抗路』（抗路舎、2022年1月）に日本語で掲載された。第二に、収集済みであった史料や日本でアクセス可能な史料の分析である。具体的には、韓国や米国の外交文書を主たる分析対象とし、カーター政権の人権外交に注目して、次の二つの研究を行った。一つは、光州事件への米国務省と米議会、韓国外務部の対応を、三者間の関係に着目して分析した。この内容は、2021年10月に行われた国際政治学会2021年度研究大会で、日本語で報告した。もう一つは、カーター政権による光州事件への対応を、1979年12月に台湾で発生した美麗島事件への対応と比較し、分析した。この内容は、2022年7月に、北海道大学スラブ・ユーラシア研究センター主催の国際シンポジウムで、英語で報告した。なお、当初予定していた米国での史料調査は、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で実施がかなわなかった。
