项目摘要

マインドワンダリングにおける意図性と思考内容の多次元性が，ワーキングメモリと反復的思考のスタイルとの関連における役割を検証するために，追試の実験研究を行った。その結果，ワーキングメモリの容量が低くなるほど，ネガティブ感情価を持つ非意図的マインドワンダリングの生起頻度が高められることにより，心配傾向が増加されることが示唆された。そこで，ワーキングメモリの容量が低いほど，非意図的マインドワンダリングが生起されやすく，マインドワンダリングの内容に随伴されるネガティブな感情を自動的に回避されることによって，将来の出来事を過剰に心配するような非機能的な反応スタイルが強化される可能性があると考えられる。また，非意図的マインドワンダリングの生起頻度が高いほど，心配傾向が高められることにより，不安症状の重症度が増加された。さらに，非意図的マインドワンダリングの生起頻度が高いほど，反芻傾向が高められることにより，抑うつ症状の重症度が増加された。これらの知見から，非意図的マインドワンダリングは，ネガティブな内容により，心配や反芻といつたネガティブな自己参照処理の認知プロセスに関与し，抑うつ・不安といったメンタルヘルス不調のリスク要因に寄与する可能性がある。今回の追試で得られた知見を踏まえて，今後の研究として，非意図的マインドワンダリングにおける思考内容の特異性（content-specific effect）の可能性を明らかにし，それぞれの思考内容の次元によって非意図的マインドワンダリングはワーキングメモリ,抑うつ・不安症状との相互作用を明らかにする必要性があると考えられる。
