2022年10月29日、東京大学で開催された哲学会第61回研究発表大会において、「真理の担い手としての述定」と題する依頼発表を行った。この発表では、現代における対応説的真理論の一形態と考えられる真理付与理論(truthmaker theory)における「真にする」という関係について、それが単なる偶然的なものではなく何らかの必然性を伴う関係である以上、その関係項のひとつとしての真理の担い手の「本性」というものを重視せざるをえないという問題意識のもとで、改めて真理の担い手についての形而上学的考察を行った。そのための方法として、どちらかと言えば言語哲学の文脈で、2010年頃からS.ソームズやP.ハンクスらが提示している「真理の担い手としての述定」という発想を主な手がかりとした。より具体的には、「真理の第一次的(primary)担い手は述定である」という主張の(私が採用する)意味を明確化したうえで、そのような主張の真理付与理論への応用可能性を探った。その結果として、ハンクスに従って真理の第一次的担い手をトークンとしての述定行為と見なすことにより、真理付与理論においてJ.ロウとD.アームストロングがそれぞれ採用する真理の担い手のゆえに発生するいくつかの問題を回避できることを示すとともに、ハンクスの述定概念があくまでも古典述語論理の枠内での外延的な述定に縛られているという点においてあまりに一面的であることを指摘した。上記以外にも、論文「なぜ私は成長ブロック説を採らないのか：秋葉氏に答える(1) 」において、真理の部分性をもたらす重要な一要因としての真理の始原的現在性の時間論的根拠となる現在主義を擁護することにより、本研究の前提となっている実体主義的存在論の再強化を図った。
