2022年度の研究実績は、大きく次の4点にまとめられる。1）美学関連の古典の翻訳・註釈作業に関して。20年以上かけて準備してきたシェリング『超越論的観念論の体系』をようやく公刊することができた（共編訳書）。さらに、カント『判断力批判』第一部訳註の作業をもほぼ終えることができた。後者の公刊に向けて、次年度も努力を続ける予定である。2）近代日本における古典復興について。岡倉覚三の理論を、西洋との出会いをとおしての東アジアの古典復興の試みとして捉え返す作業を行った。その成果は、ブダペストで開催された身体美学をめぐる国際会議での基調講演で示した。3）ドイツ観念論の美学理論の再構成。2022年度はとりわけ、シェリングの芸術理論の再解釈に集中し、そこから「解釈学的循環」の規定に存する「制作学的循環」の理念を取り出し、その理論化を行った。4）2023年12月開催予定のシェリング関連の国際会議に関連して。「人新世の時代におけるシェリングの哲学」と題されたこの会議は、日本シェリング協会が国際シェリング協会との協力の下に開催するものであるが、その準備をとおして、「地質学的想像力」の重要性に思い到り、この点についてさまざまに考察を深めた。
