この研究の目的は、バウムガルテンの『形而上学』第1版(1739年)から第4版(1757年)間での比較を通して、美学の成立過程を明らかにすることにある。本年度の成果としては、大きく次の四点をあげることができる。第一に、昨年度の『形而上学』の第3版(1750年)のデータ・ベース化をふまえ、本年度は昨年度のデータ・ベースの校正を行うとともに、第1版・第2版のデータ・ベース化を完了し、テクスト相互の異同の研究を行った。第二に、その研究の成果の一部を、98年7月にボルドー大学で開催された国際18世紀学会主催「東西セミナー」において報告した。このセミナーは、18世紀の美学を研究する専門家20名が1週間にわたって寝食を共にし、研究を発表しあう、というもので、セミナーの参加者からは多くの研究上の示唆をうることができた。その中の多くの参加者は(私を含めて)99年7月にダブリンで開かれる国際18世紀学会にも参加する予定であり、その際にさらなる研究の成果の公刊を行うことが期待される。なお、このこのセミナーで発表した論考は、99年度中に「国際18世紀学会」の定期刊行雑誌に掲載の予定。また日本語版は「『美的なもの』と『学問的なもの』あるいは『公教的なもの』と『秘教的なもの』」として、『美学芸術学研究』第17巻(1998年)に公刊される〔印刷中〕。第3に、第4版(1757年)のテクストのマイクロ・フィッシュをマンハイム大学図書館より入手し、これにより次年度においてあらゆる版本の比較が可能となった。第4に、99年2月から3月にかけて、ドイツ・ハンブルク大学を訪れ、ペッツォルト教授、ペプロウ博士に研究上の指導を受けた。

The purpose of my research, "Metaphysics" 1st edition (1739), 4th edition of "Metaphysics" Edition (1757) between でのComparison を通して, aesthetics のEstablishment process を明らかにすることにある. This year’s achievements are the four-point achievement of the big achievement and the big achievement of the year. The 3rd and 4th edition (1757) University of the Arts図书馆より开户し、これによりThe next year's においてあらゆる version の Maybe となった. The 4th month, February 1999, March 1999, にかけて, ドイツ・ハンブルク大学をInterviewed by Professor Hiroshima and Dr. Yokohama for research guidance.
