本年度の研究実績は、次のとおりである。１「『花供養』翻刻集成Ⅱ―蒼キュウの時代　寛政十一年～文化十三年―」、２「『花供養』の入集者獲得」、３「石清水八幡宮『八幡八景』を読む」である。１の『花供養』は、近世後期の俳諧の実態を時間及び地域から広く考察する資料である。印刷物並びにWEB公開した。先学によってまとめられている『時雨会』とともに重要であり、これらを総合的に研究することによって、近世後期の京都俳壇にとどまらず、全国に広がる俳諧の様相が見えてくる。芭蕉堂一世闌更と二世蒼キュウは師弟の関係であるが、師の芭蕉顕彰をよく理解し大きく展開させたのが弟子の蒼キュウである。その一端は、２の論稿でも指摘し、考察した。全国に展開していく花供養会は、その展開の様相において堂主ごとに少しずつ異なるが、文化・文政期の社会情勢の変化は、俳諧にとっても重要な影響を与えている。即ち、俳諧師の社会的地位が高くなり、俳諧が社会に与える影響を看過できなくなるのである。また、芭蕉堂の堂主たちは、公家の二条家において俳諧を展開している。これは京都の特殊な状況であるが、これを巧みに利用して勢力の拡大と芭蕉顕彰とを実現していく。これらについての根拠の一端として、１の翻刻集成Ⅱにおいて、地域の俳人の動きを数値化して示した。前年度にまとめた翻刻集成Ⅰと併せて参照すると、より具体的なデータが得られる。３の論稿は、コロナ禍の中、資料収集や研究会の発表がほとんど行うことができなくなった状況下で、少人数の三人のみの研究会を持ち、京都の南山城地域の文学・俳諧にテーマを広げて取り組んだものである。連歌から俳諧へと展開する様子からは、京都という地が育んだ詩魂が脈々と続き、近世後期の俳諧に繋がる様子が考察された。印刷物並びにWEB公開している。
