2022年度は、本研究の二本柱の１つである総称文に関する研究成果を、国際的な舞台で発信した。一般的な知識を提示する総称文に関する研究の多くは、文脈から切り離された１文のみを扱っており、テクストレベルの現象に注目した研究が少なかった。本研究では、総称文が頻出する百科事典的文章に着目し、テクストの中で連続して現れる同一指示の総称名詞の出現の環境、及び総称名詞の単複、総称名詞につく限定詞を調査した。日本語とは異なり、フランス語では総称を表す独自の構文がないが、そのフランス語の言語固有の特徴を同定し、テクストの中での総称文の出現の特徴をまとめ、テクスト中での分布の説明を試みた。そしてその成果を、関連学会である8e Congres Mondial de Linguistique Francaise （第８回フランス語学世界大会）で口頭発表し、同学会のジャーナルに論文が掲載された。2名の研究協力者も同様にこの学会で発表し同学会のジャーナルに論文を発表した。このフランス国オルレアン大学で開催された世界大会に参加することで、世界各国の研究者と研究交流を行えた。なお、コロナ禍が完全には終息しなかったため、当初予定していた様々な国内研究集会への対面参加は、2022年度も難しいことが多かった。ただオンラインで代替開催されたものには可能な限り参加した。研究代表者は合計11の学術研究集会（学会、研究会、セミナー）に参加することで、最先端の研究成果に触れ、オンラインの限られた範囲とはいえ研究交流を行って、本研究をさらに深めるきっかけを得た。
