项目摘要

2022年度は，歴史統語論の観点から構造に注目して，日本語主語表示体系の歴史的変化について考察した。時代は平安時代から現代までの長いスパンの変化について考察した。対象とした形態は，無助詞と「の」と「が」の三形態である（例「雨（無助詞）降る」「雨が降る」「雨の降る」）。研究手法は，コーパス資料を活用した客観的分析を行い，無助詞から「が」への変化の様子と変化を促した構造的要因，「の」が構成する構文の歴史的変化の特徴的な点と変化の原動力について明らかにした。成果としては，①「古代日本語の主格助詞の変化―平安～中世までを対象に―」（2022年12月，日本語文学95 p.23-41，韓国日本語文学会），②「準体法の衰退―連体節との関連から―」（2023年4月，第11回国際学術大会・韓国日本研究総連合会proceedings p.31-35）の研究論文2本，③研究発表，「無助詞「の」「が」の歴史的展開―平安～現代までの構造変化に注目して」（2022年11月，名古屋言語研究会第193回）がある。従来の研究では，主語表示形態の変遷について古代語の主要な主語表示形態であった無助詞を対象とした論考は皆無に近かった。本研究が，古代語から現代語までの包括的・巨視的観点からの無助詞と「の」「が」の三形態の関わり合いを明らかにしたこと，無助詞の衰退と「が」の勢力拡大の理由について構造的観点を入れて，新たな日本語の変遷の姿を提示したことは，意義深い。
