当該年度（令和4年度）は、当初の研究計画である「we, you, they一般人称主語構文」の拡張現象とそれに関わる概念基盤の解明を目指した。特に、この種の構文を「参与者経験構文(PEC)」と呼び、「セッティング主語構文(SSC)」と「it非人称構文(IIC)」と共に観察することで構文の拡張現象としての連続性を明らかにし、それを動機付ける概念基盤を解明した。PEC, SSC, IICの連続性を動機付ける概念基盤には、プロファイル部の移行だけではなく、人間の一般的認知能力の発現としてのダイナミックな認知プロセスが関与していることが明らかとなった。具体的には、(1)（間）主観性、(2)換喩、(3)フレーム知識、の3つがその認知要因として関与しており、以下の2点が重要な論点となった。論点1：PEC, SSC, IICの生起と拡張には、事態把握に関わる経験者を特定する際に（間）主観性が関与している。特に、SSCとIICでは、セッティングやitの範囲設定にも関わる一般的経験者は、グランディング要素である話し手と聞き手の間主観的突き合わせの認知プロセスから決まる。論点2：グランディング要素である話し手と聞き手の間主観的突き合わせから生じる範囲設定の問題は、各構文の主語名詞句に関わるフレーム知識の問題に還元することができる。また、それぞれの主語のフレームが動詞のフレームと協働することで、それぞれの構文や構文特性を生む（構文フレーム）。さらに、構文の生起・拡張に関して、協働するフレームの一部が換喩を通じて移行することによってフレームにズレが生じ、これがプロファイル部の移行を誘発し、構文間に緩やかな連続性をもたらす。以上のことは、中間報告として、日本認知言語学会・第23回全国大会（オンライン開催）において口頭発表により公表した。
