项目摘要

3年目は、摩擦音の指導および、シャドーイングの効果を探ることに注力した。本研究の前提として、機能負荷量の原則と最小対のとらえ方について実証研究を整理しながら、英語音声指導において摩擦音を扱う意義を確認した。主にスピーチ学習モデル（Flege, 1995）および第2言語知覚同化モデル（Best and Tyler 2019)を援用して、音声カテゴリーの習得パターンにもとづいた音声知覚のメカニズムについて考察した（飯野,2023）。実証研究として、日本人大学生に対して、8週間、English Accent Coach ver.3（Thomson, 2023)を活用してHVPTによる知覚訓練を施した。対象音 /b/, /f/, /v/, /θ/,/th有声音/, /z/,/sh音/のいずれかが先頭にある1音節の刺激音を聞いて、聞こえた音素記号を画面上で１つ選ぶ課題として、1度に100問の設定で実施した。結果から、音素知覚の伸びでは/θ/において平均20%の有意な向上が見られた。聞き間違え（誤認）のパターン分析からは/f/⇔/θ/、/v/⇔/b/、/th有声音記号/⇔/z/、/b/⇔/v/ など、従来から音声教育で言及されている日本語話者特有の音韻的代用が知覚においても存在することが明らかとなった。更に、HVPTと並行して通常授業時に発音への意識を高める指導（Concisouseness raising）を交えながら音読とシャドーイングを毎回授業時に繰り返し行う指導を6週間行ったところ、知覚において/f/,/θ/,/z/において有意な伸長が見られた（子音＋母音条件）。また、調音においては/f/,/θ/、/th有声音記号/において有意な伸長が見られた。結果から、英語摩擦音の知覚と調音は、音読・シャドーイングのアウトプットの機会を設けることにより一定の向上が見られることが判明した。

Resultから、English fricative soundの知覚と音は、音読・シャドーイングのアウトプットのOpportunityをsettingけることにより CertainのUPが见られることがdeterminationした.
