琉球王国における文書行政のあり方について検討するため、分析対象となる辞令書類の悉皆的なデータベースの構築を実施した。琉球王国辞令書においては、使用される文字や年号・用語に、同時代における対外関係状況が反映されている。そうした外的な要素を包摂しつつ構築されたのが琉球行政文書の特徴であると考えられる。文書を構成する各要素を比較することが可能なデータベースの構築を進めるとともに、分析作業を並行して実施した。分析作業においては、琉球王国における日本的書札礼の導入と、役職整備などの行政システムの構築に連関性があることに着目した。日本からの影響が大きい一方、南明元号が一貫して使用されていることも確認できる。国内文書の発給に際し、国家の対外的な姿勢がダイレクトに反映されることが、琉球王国辞令書の特徴であることが明らかになった。

In the Ryukyu Kingdom, the construction of all kinds of documents and documents is carried out. The Ryukyu Kingdom Dictionary reflects the use of words, year numbers, terms, contemporaries, and foreign relations. The characteristics of Ryukyu administrative documents are discussed in detail. A comparison of the various elements of the document is possible.
